Feel at home at the (official) home site of Vidal Rousso - dancer and choreographer, a guy with quite a few artistic inclinations since he's been detected in the fields of acting, writing and photography as well. Most of his work up to 2005 Vidal has done in Latvia, where he is originally from; now he is staying in Stockholm, Sweden with his girl Christine, together with whom he has been working on several of his shows. Vidal's shows don't really fit in one particular genre; if a label can't
be escaped, he'd be a queer performer, since that includes severely enjoyable
freedom of expression. More about Vidal's dances you can find under Shows. His other stuff - like stories or photos - are placed under Works; if you want to get to know what motivates him, as well as read some excerpts of unseriously serious nature, proceed to his background here, but Fun stuff has been created solely for fun and leisure. C'mon in =)
Bourlesque cabaret Girls, Girls, Girls! / Femme Fatale in which Vidal participates both with choreography and performing was up for Europride in summer 2008 at Stockholms stadsteater (short version also on the big stage of Pride Park), and Teater Lederman in the autumn. Look out for future performances A story by Vidal, "Eternity Fields of Yokatatumba" has been released in a real-life story collection book "Trans People in Love" , issued by the Haworth Press in the U.S. In the beginning of 2009 Vidal is taking a break to travel through Cuba and Panama. |
